Want to work as an at home call center agent but don’t have a great computer? Did you know that there are a number of employers that let you work from home and that provide you with equipment? That’s right, there are some really good companies that loan you a great computer, monitor, headset and microphone to get you up and running as a remote call center agent.
In this post, we will give a few examples of companies that hire remote workers and that provide work from home equipment. We will also give some details of what type of equipment is provided. Note that some of the larger employers discussed on this site do not provide you with equipment – instead, they work with a “bring your own computer” (BYOC) model requiring you to use your own equipment. An example of one such company is Sitel. Sitel has detailed requirements for your work at home equipment on their careers website.
One example of a company that does provide equipment for work from home jobs is Alorica. Alorica has a number of remote work job postings which specifically state that equipment will be provided for work from home employees. Alorica does not give any details about what type of equipment is provided.
Another example is Concentrix. Concentrix provides equipment for work from home positions in some situations. You can search the Concentrix career website for “remote” positions. The positions that provide equipment are clearly identified. The type of equipment provided is not listed on the Concentrix website, but the equipment is likely a computer, monitor, headset and microphone.
One of the largest call center companies is Teleperformance. Teleperformance actively promotes remote work, and often provides equipment for work at home jobs. Search the Teleperformance career website for “work from home” jobs. When you find a job you are interested in, look through the description to see if equipment is provided. Here’s an example of what you may see:

There are tons of other examples of employers that are currently posting work at home jobs that provide equipment. Just keep your eyes out for the terms “work at home” or “remote work” and “equipment provided” when you search through their career websites.
Also, just remember, the equipment is provided to you while you are an employee. You will need to return the equipment if your job ends.
